Who do you work with?
We work with adults, adolescents, and children from various backgrounds. We are a black-owned, faith-based private practice and we provide culturally sensitive and compassionate care tailored to each client's unique needs.
Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?
Yes. We offer secure telehealth sessions for clients who prefer the convenience of meeting remotely.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Yes. In-person appointments are available at our Washington, DC office based on clinician availability.
Do you accept insurance?
We currently accept several insurance plans, including:

What if I have a copay or deductible?
Clients are responsible for any co-pays, coinsurance, or deductible amounts required by their insurance plan. We encourage you to contact your insurance provider to understand your benefits prior to your first appointment.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule an appointment by contacting our office through the website, phone, or email. Once we receive your request, we'll help match you with the clinician who best fits your needs.
How long are therapy sessions?
Most therapy sessions are approximately 45 minutes after the initial 1-hour intake session. Session length may vary depending on your treatment goals and clinical needs.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important. Information shared during therapy is confidential except in situations where disclosure is required by law, such as concerns regarding safety, abuse, or court orders.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that clients provide at least 24 hours' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or missed appointments will result in a fee.
What can I expect during my first session?
We offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to identify your needs and if you believe the clinician is a good fit. After the consultation, you will schedule your intake appointment, which consists of discussing your concerns, personal history, goals for therapy, and answering any questions you may have about the counseling process.
Do you provide faith-based counseling?
Yes. Faith-based counseling is available for clients who wish to incorporate their spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process. We respect and support each client's individual values and preferences.
